Dematic is proud to have played a major role in the design and commissioning of Beijing Pharmaceutical Co Ltd’s (BJP) new world-class distribution centre, the first of its type in China.

Designed to provide BJP with World’s Best Practice logistics and material handling, the facility provides the city’s largest pharmaceutical goods distributor with fast, accurate and cost-effective distribution services in China’s increasingly competitive pharmaceutical goods industry.

Worlds Best Practice can mean different things to different customers. For BJP it meant being able to provide highly responsive customer service, a high level of information to provide real-time management control and true lowest life cycle cost.

In working with Dematic and making the commitment to set a new standard for pharmaceutical distribution in China, BJP’s Madame Chen and her logistics team showed great foresight and leadership. She recognised the importance of achieving a successful result and believed strongly in Dematic ability to deliver that result.

The outcome is a highly advanced logistics system that will not only achieve the high standards she strove to reach, but more. BJP’s distribution centre sets a new benchmark for logistics excellence in China, and is yet another global example of world’s best practice by Dematic.
