Wireless Network Engineer - NSW
We have an exciting opportunity for a Wireless Network Engineer to join our Customer Service team based at our Belrose site. The role will help us deliver 24x7 national support – including system design, contract repair, preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown services for all Dematic customers.
This role requires a self motivated individual, familiar with the rigours of being an “on call” service engineer, coupled with the technical skill set required to carry out design and implementation of new RTL sites.
Responsibilities will include:
- Design and implementation of Wireless LAN infrastructure
- Installation and configuration of wireless and voice recognition data terminals and backbone
- Field service and support of customer install base
- Product Maintenance
- Emergency Breakdowns / After Hours Roster
- Pre –Sales Product Selection / Technical Guidance
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications & experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science or other relevant field.
- Ability to analyse/trouble shoot problems under pressure
- Good working knowledge of wireless products
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, 802.11a,b/g
- Knowledge of networks; routers, switches, VPN’s
- Familiarity with Ekahau, AirMagnet Software
- Cisco Product Experience
- Current driver’s license

Graduate Software Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Software Development Group for a Graduate Software Engineer, due to increased demand and market growth. The position will involve all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Whilst developing software products some key responsibilities of the role will be to produce: functional specifications; system and design specifications; factory and site test specifications and reports; unit test specifications; to develop software modules and test them to unit test specifications; integration test and site commissioning.
The role will also participate in reviews; provide assistance to the Engineering group for customer support; follow IT development quality processes and procedures and to actively contribute to the improvement of software development processes.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Engineering
- Technically skilled - OO design / development
- Windows programming expertise
- Relational databases
- Excellent testing skills
- Languages/Platforms/DB: Delphi, .NET, SQL server , JavaScript
- Technologies: XML/XSL, http, SOA
- Ability to travel interstate and overseas on projects
- Understanding modern software development methodologies
